Mischief

Sorry it’s taken me so very long to update my personal blog page. I’ve been very busy since the summer holidays have begun and I’ve just been trying to keep myself entertained. Thank you for all the nice letters you have been sending me. What have you been doing in the summer holidays?. The weather has been so hot and humid that many times I have felt like eating ice lollies all day to keep myself cool. When I’m indoors I like to play on my DS as I have a nice selection of games to play on it.

Sometimes I like listening to music on my ipod touch. It’s great to just play some sounds and relax.

When there is something interesting on the internet, I like to look up websites on my netbook. My netbook goes everywhere with me, even if it is a bit heavy for me to carry at times. This way I can be connected to the internet where ever I go.

On my travels I often get very lonely, so I decided to get myself a little puppy to play with. Her name is Pocky and she’s only 14 weeks old. She is quite a handful and often drags me around the garden when I’m trying to take her out for a walk. When she is left alone and this is something I try not to do too much, she pulls the socks out of my special sock bag and drags them around the living room.

She often chews anything she can find and makes holes in variousĀ  pieces of furniture in my home. We play together with her bright pink ball, but seeing as she is a puppy, she often thinks that I’m am the toy. I’ve tried to out run her, but she has very fast little legs and I’m hoping that I can stay in one piece. I didn’t have much hair before, but I’ll have even less if she get’s her teeth into me.

I do love her very much and she keeps me company on the days when I feel lonely. She is the best companion in the world. I just hope she does n’t eat everything, including me!

Until next time, hope you have a wonderful summer holidays

Love Arnold

Playing Little Big Planet At Home

I spent the morning playing ‘Little Big Planet‘. Today I got my crown and it fits perfectly on my little head. I’ve just started to explore all the different levels in the game. There are some very interesting online levels within the community. Some very funny ones and some very difficult levels. I’ve had so much fun swinging, flying, driving and surfing all over the place. I’ve even decorated my pod with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Decorating your pod is very much like decorating your own bedroom, just more fun. Do you like it?.

I’ve been changing my clothes all day. Deciding what to wear is sometimes a hard decision to make. So many delightful choices in such a wonderful range of outfits. I tried on some sunglasses today. I think they look nice. Although the sun is not out today, so I’m not sure what use they will be this weekend.

Playing Little Big Planet is fun and entertaining. The fun never stops. Even when you have completed the game, there are many online levels to explore and if you’re feeling brave you can even create your own level. Give it a try.

When you’re playing the online level games, have you come across a favorite level that maybe you would like to share with me?.

As you know I love Turtles and I found some great creations online, but I don’t have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle outfit. I tried to make myself Green, but ended up sticking daisies all over my body. Maybe I will just have to learn how to make one properly.

Have a good weekend

Arnold Goes To Colchester Zoo

Over the weekend I decided to venture out over to ‘Colchester Zoo‘. I wanted to do some exploring and see some wonderful animals. Colchester Zoo is the ideal place to have a great day out. I think you can learn a lot about the animals and their natural habitat. You can even sponsor an animal if you want to and there are many ways to help and donate to the zoo. So off I went to explore…

I managed to catch sight of a ”Timber Wolf’, it has some lovely colors, it was pacing up and down. If only I could touch it…

Ok maybe not one of my brightest ideas I’ve ever had.

I continued my journey around the zoo. Seeing such beautiful animals. It was wonderful. I wish I could take them home with me. The zoo was very busy with small children smiling and laughing. People seem to have a very good time here. I walked along the small lake and looked out to see many turtles basking on a wooden log in the middle of the water. I counted three of them all in a row. They love the sunshine. As I continued my journey around the park, I soon discovered some more interesting animals. In the distance I could hear splashing, and I had to investigate.

Beautiful penguins. That’s what all the noise was about. Many penguins splashing around and having lots of fun in the water. Some of the penguins were curled up together. They looked like they were in love.

That water looked so nice and cool. I was so warm in the heat and my fluffy skin was getting bobbly. I left the penguins to their fun and wandered around some more. I went down a small path that led out to the other side of the lake. I love exploring and finding new animals. I stopped in my tracks and suddenly I could hear a noise. What was it?…

A silly duck had been sitting on the fence and was quacking. Behind her were a few more baby ducklings following her. They were so cute and adorable. It’s nice here because some of the animals wander around freely.

Large tall giraffes were nibbling on some food. At special times you can feed the giraffes and Elephants. As long as you remember to wash your hands after you feed them. I stopped an had an ice cream as it was so hot and I needed something to cool me down. All this walking was making me tired.

I stopped for a rest by the monkey enclosure. They were so tiny and having lots of fun playing and swinging from their ropes. They look awfully cheeky.

I saw loads of tortoises. They were huge and had brightly coloured shells. The turtles and tortoises are my favorite reptiles. They have been around on this planet for a long time. Unfortunately out in the oceans, the sea turtles are often caught by horrible people that want to hurt them and also they are caught in fishing nets.

At Colchester zoo they give you all in the information about conservation of the sea turtles and their environments. We must always do our best to look after these reptiles. We owe it to them to protect them.

So many beautiful creatures. I will have to come back here again to visit. I had a fantastic time. I hope you’ve enjoyed my photos and come back to visit me. I know there will be lots more great adventures in the future.

Love

Happy Independence Day

I’m enjoying my new ‘Statue Of Liberty’ outfit to celebrate ‘American Independence Day’. Although I don’t make a habit of dressing up as a girl.

Happy Independence day.

Don’t forget to get your outfit so we can celebrate together today.

An adventure with my uncle

My uncle decided to visit me over the weekend, so I showed him around all the local parks. I think he might stay for a while.

pp

We decided to go to the park and found somewhere nice to sit and have a cup of tea together. The sunshine was glorious and the air was warm.

pp

We decided to go for a round of golf , maybe we could get a hole in one.

pp

After I got all the golf clubs and balls out the bag, I looked round and Uncle had disappeared. I know he must be hiding around here somewhere

pp

Eventually I found him hiding in the trees. We continued with our game of golf. I’m not very good at it, mainly because when I hit the golf balls they go into the river and I can’t swim to get them out.

pp

After our game of golf, I asked Uncle whether we could go skateboarding. He didn’t seemed that impressed with the idea, but said it could be a bit of fun.

pp

There was a nice bit of road ahead that didn’t have much traffic on it, so we both hopped on. Uncle was really showing off on the skateboard.

pp

And then disaster struck as we hit the side of the kerb and we both came flying off the skateboard. I was very hurt, but I think Uncle’s pride was more hurt.

pp

Luckily a nice lady had been walking by and spotted the pair of us lying on the road and rushed Uncle and IĀ  straight off to the hospital. Where I had to have my head bandaged up.

pp

Uncle had to have a plaster and he didn’t seem too happy about that and said we should stick to something a bit more relaxing.

pp

Uncle said it was like being in the war all over again, but with less bruises.
